Racing Skippers Racing Skippers are the most advanced students; they often also serve as instructors. Racing Skippers hone racing techniques and tactics in 420s, and learn team racing rules and tactics for the first time. Racing Skippers compete in team racing events against other Cape Cod yacht clubs, and are sometimes selected to represent CYC in Southern Massachusetts Sailing Association (SMSA) and United States Sailing Association (USSA) events.
