CYC Refreshment Schedule Refreshments are served each week after races. Members are asked to volunteer for refreshment duty and other volunteer opportunites. To all CYC Sailing School Participants and CYC Saturday Race Volunteers: We are trying out VolunteerSpot this year to provide reminder emails and scheduling. Sailing School Parents and Saturday Race Volunteers have been assigned based on your children's sailing school schedules and volunteers for Saturday races. All Sailing School Parents should cover at least one spot for refreshments or Parent on Duty. You can see your assignment by following the link to Volunteer Spot (View Activity). As well, you will get an email reminder a couple of days before the scheduled slot. A PDF version of the schedule is also available. For the safety and benefit of all club members, sailing school staff and children, PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU FULFILL YOUR VOLUNTEER DUTIES. It is your responsibility to find your replacement as soon as possible if you are unable to make it. Note, even though you can change the schedule you still need to let us know who your replacement will be. Regatta Signup and Schedule will be updated shortly. CYC Regatta Donations Chatham Yacht Club holds its annual two-day regatta the first weekend in August. Regatta Signup and Schedule will be updated soon. As always, the club appreciates your generosity to help things run smoothly! CYC Parent on Duty One parent per sailing school session acts as Parent on Duty (POD) and stays at the clubhouse during sailing class to support the teaching staff, monitor the ship to shore radio calls, and administer minor first aid. The POD is asked to arrive at 9:30 M-Fri. Plan to stay until noon on Monday and Tuesday and after the sailing school race on Wednesday and Thursday (around 1:30). Opti PODs are asked to be present during Opti Class on Fridays from 9:30 to 12:00 noon.
